In the first week of April, 38 students from Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia met in Munich at the 2018 International ALLPLAN Coach Summit. They came together to increase their knowledge about Allplan Architecture, Allplan Engineering, Allplan Bimplus and Allplan Bridge. They were able to obtain a better understanding of BIM and our tools that support the BIM method.

Furthermore they obtained some great tips on how to organize and run their Allplan Basic training courses more efficiently. The most valuable training sessions consisted of special presentations held by five experts from ALLPLAN Product Management and University, each covering a different core topic. These were followed by workshops where students could ask their questions and the speakers benefitted from useful feedback and inspiration.

At the end of the event, the participating students received an "ALLPLAN Certified Instructor" certificate. Coming from seven different nations, the coaches also used the opportunity to exchange experiences and new ideas for teaching and of course to build up their network.
Karin Schmidt, Head of International Education and host of the Coach Summit, sums up: "Whether newcomer or long-time experienced Allplan Coach, there was something new and interesting for everyone. The atmosphere was great, the participants enjoyed the city rally around Marienplatz as well as a joint dinner and will stay in contact long after the event".
