ALLPLAN and ALLPLAN Infrastructure GmbH together at the 39th IABSE Symposium in Vancouver

The International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) is a scientific/technical association comprising members in 100 countries and counting 51 national groups worldwide. Founded in 1929, it has its seat in Zurich, Switzerland. The aim of the association is to exchange knowledge and to advance the practice of structural engineering worldwide in the service of the profession and society.

IABSE organizes yearly international symposia, quadrennial congresses, and smaller conferences around the world. At these events, experts from academia and the profession exchange knowledge and contribute to the advancement of the state of the art for the benefit of society as a whole. They are on particular themes and are of a high technical and scientific standard.

ALLPLAN Infrastructure GmbH attends the symposium every year – due to its global bridge activities and experience. At this years' IABSE symposium from September 21st to 23rd in Vancouver, Canada for the first time, ALLPLAN Infrastructure GmbH and ALLPLAN had a joint appearance. Vanja Samec, Managing director at ALLPLAN Infrastructure GmbH: "We decided to attend it together with ALLPLAN in 2017 and it was an excellent combination of the well known group of bridge experts with ALLPLAN's excellence in the fields of CAD and BIM. We managed to awake a respectful international interest." The ALLPLAN Infrastructure GmbH was formerly known as BTG IT & Consulting and renamed in September 2017.
